End of Summer Holiday.. *sigh*

Haven't been updating for quite a while now. The IBM at home was struck by ligthning when we were on our holiday in Penang. The total cost to change the IC (aka motherboard) is RM2000+. Might as well buy a new laptop right? So, after some thoughts and advice from my Dad's personal IT guy, Mr. Irwan, he decided to buy a new desktop instead. Because we already have the LCD monitor. So we went to Law Yatt Plaza to ensemble Dad's new desktop and Dad changed the internet service provider at home.

Let's start off where we left it, shall we?

Long, Tiring Day... was it worth it? hmmm...

The day started early.. well, comparatively... Left home around midday and came back at half past 8pm. All in all, around 7 hrs of walking + window shopping! Wow~! Mr Irwan came over earlier, then went to pick my cousin up. From her place, we drove to Bukit Bintang area. We parked in Berjaya Times Square (which cost us RM10), then we walked to Low Yatt Plaza to get myself a sleeve for my brand new laptop *wink2* and webcams for my cousin and Mr Irwan.

Mr Irwan, my cousin Miza (aka Adik) and I

From Low Yatt, we walked to Sungei Wang, where we just window shopped. From there, we went to Lot 10. Actually we wanted to go straight to Pavilion but it was raining heavily, thus the pit stop. Window shopped again. After the rain stopped, we went to the Pavilion. It was my first time there. =P. I lived in KL, and Bukit Bintang is just 10 to 15 minutes drive away (depends on the traffic) but yeah, that was my first time to Pavilion, no kidding.. tho it wasn't my first time to Bukit Bintang this summer.
Window shopping..

What did we do? Hmm, had our late-lunch in the food court. We had teppanyaki. Then window shopped with a little bit of shopping as well =P. And of course, I had the first taste of JCo donuts and bought a dozen for take away. My personal opinion, I don't get the hype going around about the donuts. I mean, I enjoyed it but I think I prefer Krispy Kreme. =P
Waiting for our Teppanyaki

So, was it worth it? 7 hours of window shopping?? Well, I did buy myself a new handbag.. =P. I think the best thing about today is that I got the chance to spend some time with the people I love.. (yes2, Adik.. that includes you..) =P

Dad in the LRT (you look so young, that's why no one offered you a seat, Dad~!) *wink*

Saturday (August 9)
Location: Renaissance Hotel, Bukit Bintang.
Occasion: Meet up with Lujain, my friend/classmate in Cork. She came over to Malaysia all the way from Kuwait with her family. A few of us took her for a "Malaysia Truly Asia" experience (as Lulu puts it). Took her on the monorail and went to Lot 10 & Sungei Wang. She had a taste of Nasi Lemak and then we went shopping, of course. *wink*
Back in Cork, we taught her a few Malay phrases. She loves to say, "Jom pergi ...." and of course, the guys taught her some curse words. *eyes rolling* hahaha

Finally!!

The greatest thing about going back to Terengganu this time was, apart from seeing my Mum... I GOT MYSELF A PAIR OF GLADIATOR!!!
One pair for me, one pair for my sister.. *standing ovation*!

Believe it or not, I've been looking all over KL for the shoes! The expensive stores, the 'okay' boutique, even the cheap ones.. I just couldn't find any! Okay, exaggeration! I found one in Carlo Rino but it wasn't exactly the colour that I want. And I found one in D&G in Singapore, which is damn expensive! My friend bought one in Kota Bharu, and I couldn't find it in the same shop in KL!! *eyes rolling*. I've had my eyes on gladiators since I was in Cork (May/June). I did find a few pairs in Ireland, like in Topshop, Clarks etc, I thought there would be more choices in KL. Well, I thought wrong. It turns out people in Terengganu and Kelantan are more up-to-date than in KL.. *hahaha*
So now I'm just waiting for a wedge-gladiator or heels-gladiator.. Wedge-gladiator would be the best! I love wedges, and I would love to add more wedges to my collection.. *wink*

The one I fell in love with in the magazine, Nine West Gladiator Wedge.
Wait for me! I'll get you in September~!

Terengganu, 2nd Trip..

Went back to Terengganu again on the 22nd of July and came back on the 27th.
This time, I didn't get the chance to go around much, so basically we just laze around at home. *wink*
Lazing around with Adam
Our routine was:
- wake up in the morning, breakfast (nasi dagang/nasi impit+sambal ikan/nasi minyak/laksam/beehoon goreng etc)
- my family usually had durian for lunch, but it's a no-no for me. (I can't stand the smell! It's a migraine inducer for me, really~!)
- in the afternoon, usually just went to the city center, markets or visit our relatives. One afternoon, we went to Pantai Batu Burok and had a stroll down the beach. =)

Hani, Adam & I @ Pantai Batu Burok

- after Maghrib, we would all be at my Mum's food stall. She just manage the stall, really. Her cook, who is a Kelantanese, cooks "hot food", u know.. all the goreng2 stuff (tom yam, nasi goreng, padprik etc). I helped out at the stall while I was there.

Next post coming soon.. really soon..
