Salam Ramadhan Al-Mubarak!
Happy fasting, people! =)
It is going to be 16 hrs of fasting here in Ireland.. *gambatte ne!*
Here is a simple dish for your "bukak puasa"
It is very easy to prepare yet it's delicious!
Ingredients:
-a bag of sumi jellies (the cone-shaped colourful jellies that we love to eat when we were small)
-a can of fruit cocktail
-a can of evaporated milk (not condensed okay?)
Methods:
-remove all the packaging of sumi jellies and put them into a big bowl, and pour in all of the contents of both the evaporated milk and fruit cocktail (the syrup as well).
-keep it in the refrigerator for at least 1/2 hour.
-if u don't have a fridge (haha), u can put in ice cubes instead!
and voila! It's ready!
p/s: if u can't find any sumi jellies (like in Ireland), u can substitute by using any kind of jellies, but make sure u read the ingredients ok? no pork gelatine please... =)

End of Summer Holiday.. *sigh*
Haven't been updating for quite a while now. The IBM at home was struck by ligthning when we were on our holiday in Penang. The total cost to change the IC (aka motherboard) is RM2000+. Might as well buy a new laptop right? So, after some thoughts and advice from my Dad's personal IT guy, Mr. Irwan, he decided to buy a new desktop instead. Because we already have the LCD monitor. So we went to Law Yatt Plaza to ensemble Dad's new desktop and Dad changed the internet service provider at home.
Let's start off where we left it, shall we?

Long, Tiring Day... was it worth it? hmmm...
The day started early.. well, comparatively... Left home around midday and came back at half past 8pm. All in all, around 7 hrs of walking + window shopping! Wow~! Mr Irwan came over earlier, then went to pick my cousin up. From her place, we drove to Bukit Bintang area. We parked in Berjaya Times Square (which cost us RM10), then we walked to Low Yatt Plaza to get myself a sleeve for my brand new laptop *wink2* and webcams for my cousin and Mr Irwan.
Mr Irwan, my cousin Miza (aka Adik) and I
What did we do? Hmm, had our late-lunch in the food court. We had teppanyaki. Then window shopped with a little bit of shopping as well =P. And of course, I had the first taste of JCo donuts and bought a dozen for take away. My personal opinion, I don't get the hype going around about the donuts. I mean, I enjoyed it but I think I prefer Krispy Kreme. =P
So, was it worth it? 7 hours of window shopping?? Well, I did buy myself a new handbag.. =P. I think the best thing about today is that I got the chance to spend some time with the people I love.. (yes2, Adik.. that includes you..) =P

Friday (August 8)
Location: Sogo, Pertama Complex, Jln TAR, Midvalley Megamall.
Occasion: Dad wanted to get some supplies for his smoking pipe and I shopped for a new baju kurung for a wedding this weekend. Oh, and we were browsing for a laptop for me~! =D
Thanx again to Mr. Irwan for picking us up in Bangsar station. =)
Later that evening, we watched the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympic at my place. It was magnificent, don't you think? *drools*

Lujain & I
Saturday (August 9)
Location: Renaissance Hotel, Bukit Bintang.
Occasion: Meet up with Lujain, my friend/classmate in Cork. She came over to Malaysia all the way from Kuwait with her family. A few of us took her for a "Malaysia Truly Asia" experience (as Lulu puts it). Took her on the monorail and went to Lot 10 & Sungei Wang. She had a taste of Nasi Lemak and then we went shopping, of course. *wink*
Back in Cork, we taught her a few Malay phrases. She loves to say, "Jom pergi ...." and of course, the guys taught her some curse words. *eyes rolling* hahaha
